It's interesting how this design came about. The Ronin has now branched out into the Alpha and Javelin button lock flippers which all share the same shape as the Pitboss but come in different sizes.

The ergonomics, proportions, and - of course - the looks of the Ronin have always made it one of our favorite ADV designs. All that is taken up a notch with the Ronin BL (well, the proportions do remain the same). I contoured the titanium frame, redesigned the inlays, and added a thumb slot to make accessing the thumb 'hole' a piece of cake. An improved pocket clip design, pivot and collars, and a larger lanyard hole are minor aesthetic changes that make a huge difference. The Ronin Button Lock is a ferocious beast masquerading as a thing of beauty and we love everything about it.
