The K9 is a backup CQC tactical fixed blade perfect for daily carry. It has an index finger ring to make the knife impossible to lose during use and finger grooves and contouring for excellent ergonomics. The upswept trailing point blade has a serrated sawback cutting edge for maximum efficacy and an ADV signature blood groove/fuller serving little practical purpose besides reducing weight and looking cool. There is highly functional jimping on the thumb ramp in the forward grip but it really shines tactically in a reverse grip. This allows you to punch and swipe at an assailant with the edge away from your body for additional safety. The friction-fit Kydex sheath includes a Tek-Lok belt attachment and the knife is a nice thick blade stock that will allow for years of hard use on this excellent versatile design.
